The Retirement Of Santa

Santa Claus, loved by billions throughout time, delivering our presents every year without fail has had enough, feeling under-appreciated he decides its time for a long overdue retirement.

The Retirement of Santa

 

That was it.

Enough.

How many centuries had he been doing this?

Travelling the world in one night delivering presents to the world.

‘What do I get out of it’ He thought.

Milk and cookies and occasionally a thank you letter.

It’s not worth it anymore.

People just want vouchers and money and technology.

He missed the days where he and elves made toys for children.

He loved these days, in fact he now cherished them.

The number of children who sent their Christmas lists had decreased dramatically over the last ten years or so.

Surely they would prefer toys and games to play with?

Oh well, if they don’t need me anymore, I will retire. It is long overdue.

Ands so it was that Christmas 2023 was Santa Clauses’ final ever Christmas.

What will that mean for Christmas  2024 and beyond?
