sometimes

sometimes

A Poem by chr66is

sometimes silence stalks me steady,

seemingly discreet, but ready,

lack of noise destroys composure,

reeling from my soul's exposure,

sometimes stillness scars me slowly,

desecrating all that's holy,

sitting motionless i wonder,

how my life was torn asunder,

sometimes madness courts me sweetly,

terrorizing me completely,

cursing murderous intentions,

tortured by my mind's inventions,

sometimes days can be chaotic,

rendering me less psychotic,

seems that life's mundane confusions

nullify my dark delusions.

This was awesome! My favorite stanza was:

sometimes madness courts me sweetly,
terrorizing me completely,
cursing murderous intentions,
tortured by my mind's inventions,

I love the idea of madness courting someone, trying to grow a relationship....that was very clever! Your rhyming seems so effortless too. Amazing job :]
