Flower ChildA Poem by Selah(2014) This is a paradelle, in which all of the words in the first 3 stanzas are used again to make the fourth stanza.Truth be told, I am a lost soul Truth be told, I am a lost soul Suffocate on my words unspoken Suffocate on my words unspoken I am told, suffocate my soul on a truth unspoken. Be lost, words. Climb your mountain, Flower Child Climb your mountain, Flower Child The higher up you see the beauty of this place The higher up you see the beauty of this place You child of beauty, up the mountain, climb this higher, see your flower. Lush hills slope in a valley found Lush hills slope in a valley found Rest your head near clam waters Rest your head near calm waters A lush valley in your head, slope found near hills, rest waters. Be told, my child. Head near, see this valley. Hills rest words, the flowers unspoken, lost your beauty. I am yours, a truth found in higher waters of suffocated souls, on a lush mountain slope you climb up.
