Sandy

Sandy

A Poem by night/light
"

outside watching the birds before the storm hits

"
lost birds
flock
in a single tree
outside.
take heed
their silent song
Sandy
approaches..

naturally
so smart is
faintly
succumbing
 fate
i know
now
to be taken
always
unraveling
we can all relate

self ravaging
we are all distraught, and searching today
caught in the wind of a hurricane

we can finally reveal ourselves

to the powerful winds
tearing off our wings
continuing
onwards towards
rest always
of and
mind.
Journey
brilliant and brave
eccentric,
no matter
. is saved
