I.D.E.N.T.I.T.YA Poem by Kiara AuddinoA poem about identity that i wrote for an English task.Who on earth are you? Are you some street rat scum? Do you live in the rich side, Or do you come from the slum?
Are you sweet, Loving and caring? Are you villainous With endless glaring?
This all adds up, To who you might be. To be more technical, It's your Identity.
Experiences, Family, Friends You have made. Relationships, the Community In which you have played
Some people judge, Before Identity is revealed. They leave scars in your heart, Which can never be healed.
But try and remember, These scars help to shape. And so does that long-forgotten mistake.
Look at your present, Then back at your past. Thinking about it, It all changed so fast.
Identity deals with, Skin to the bone, Soft, crying people, To a heart made of stone.
Identity is spirit, Which can sadly be lost. So save someone's 'being', At whatever the cost. © 2014 Kiara Auddino |
