Baby, smile back.

Baby, smile back.

A Poem by chocolate_addict
"

She couldn't smile back.

"

Just smile back, baby.
Give me some slack, baby.
Loosen those ropes
and come down
off that pedestal.

Deadly, baby, you’re deadly.

Give me some time,
I’ll make you feel
like a queen.

Just smile back, honey.
Give me this life, baby.
Put away the venom
and jump down
to me.

High, baby, you’re high.

Give me a chance,
I’ll make you see
the sky again.

The flowers,
honey,
they ain’t dead.
Just love’em
and they’ll be fine.
Water’em
and they’ll get by.

Just smile back, baby.
Give me this round, baby.
Open up
Breathe
and come up
for me.

Down, baby, you’re down.

Give me that love,
I’ll make amends
to you.

Just look back, baby.
Give me this day, baby.
Wake up
Love
and be with me.

Gone, baby, you’re gone

Please.
Just smile back one more time.

I always love seeing how different people interpret things. Please feel free to say whatever came to mind after reading this (the good and the bad :D) It was acutally inspired by a story I'd heard about a girl who had commited suicide. Her boyfriend had tried everything to cheer her up, but her demons were too much. Very sad.

Fun sized candy is a joke. What is so fun about less candy than a normal candy bar? I am a perfectionist. Writing began for me as a way to express feelings and unexplained desires for literature a.. more..
