Nothing in the WorldA Poem by chocolate_addict"...Our emotions are fickle things left behind us, dreary and soaked with unsatisfactory indulgence..."
Let’s raid the dwelling of our dreams, and steal the deadly sweet convections of the hidden places. Our emotions are fickle things left behind us, dreary and soaked with unsatisfactory indulgence.
The lightness about our feet provokes our wild steps. when they see the mischief quite obviously forbidden. Fear does not accompany sin Nothing in the world. The saturation of our hearts evokes our rushed passion. We roam in the fantasy of our touch, Our amplifying agitation moves into cold hysteria, and the veil before our eyes withers in the face of harsh realism. Nothing in the world. Nothing in the world can harm us. The glaring truth provokes our brutal fights. Your hardened stoic expression, My distrusting cruel eyes, play love games with your once clear understanding mind. Nothing in the world. Nothing in the world can harm us but ourselves. © 2009 chocolate_addict |
