Your little defiance and that sugar coated smirk
Your pokes and prods leave my patience mangled.

I know why you act the way you do.
That spoiled ambition.

That cocked smile that says it.
I told you so.
I told you so.

Your happy annoyance and that exaggerated sigh.
Your pinches leave my vulnerable arms discolored.

I know why I love you.
That undeterred joy.

That silly grin that says it.
I told you so.
I told you so.

Your adorable remarks and that silly eye roll.
Your embraces leave my heart content.

I know why you are my sibling.
That unmistakable gift.

That loving face that says it.
I told you so.
I told you so.

A poem about sisters/siblings. As much as your nerves are raw from their button pushing, you know why you love them all the same.
