Life as a Storm

Like a hurricane

Passing over the vast ocean

A whirlpool of destruction

A turmoil of emotion

The uncertainty of the future

Wreaking havoc on the present

The sea of instability

Rising a rapid ascent

Thunder and lightning

Pain that won't seem to stop

Then at last the clouds roll back

And all that is left is one raindrop.
