The Hurricane WithinA Poem by Chloelong, brown, curly, hair; a pale, round, face; soft - but chapped - rosy pink lips; a symetrical, curved nose; eyes the color of a stormy sea; and careful, gently, arching brows... a pimple above one brow; red spots dotting the chin; conceled dark circles below the eyes; and a scar - like a moon - on her cheek. a face of happiness - a confident smile - masking the wild hurricane inside. maybe of fear, insecurity, doubt, confusion, guilt, or perhaps deep down lie painful and unspeakable secrets or questions, of change and herself, friends or family, with the urge to talk, but no one to confide in - just herself - her thoughts - constantly feeding the wild hurricane within.
