NightmareA Poem by Chloe FairMemories don't leave him alone, his fear is himselfmemories are drowning me in pain. I can't get it out of my mind, the past is my nightmare and it won't end. dark branches creeping over, snatching me of my feet, rushing me to a silent world full off fear. The screams echo in my timid ears, swaying around leeching through. Faded shadows curl up in bundles, hiding from the sharp black eyes staring right through. Fearful clouds creep away, trying to escape the sharp pain. A soft tear pleads down my blue skin, I take a deep breath, hoping from within. © 2014 Chloe Fair |
