Lost in silence

Lost in silence

A Poem by Chloe Fair
"

Short poem representing someone who feels lost and shattered, and at the end of their journey in life

"

Cant you see my shattered smile?

Don't you see the signs of rage?

Am i just a lost being, struggling with a bundle of pain?

Im numb, lost in silence

I'm broken, crumbling to pieces

Im useless, nothing but

My teeth stutter in fear

my mind fades to dust

nothings left

I've fallen

im crying

im a useless being

help!

is this survival?

It will be a survival, but you must keep holding on to the ladder till the fence you crossed... I love this poem because of the emotional tears it gives; and mostly, I've a poem of the same title.

I would think everyone feels lonely and lost at the very end. I also like how you add questions into it. It captures the sporadic thoughts and worries I'd imagine someone would have when it's their time. Good stuff
