Oh, Canada!

A silly poem written about my adoration for our northern neighbor.

and all things yummy.
Like poutine
Cause it's really nummy.
Like bunny-hugs in clothing
Like love in a continent of loathing.
I'm sorry on behalf of the US, lads.
I'm sorry that we steal your flag,
When we travel, out abroad,
To make sure that we're not odd.
I'm sorry that we mock you,
with "eh's" and "oots" and all.
I'm sorry that we take Toronto
And film it as New York
And I'm sorry that we think that
You have your way with pork beavers
But, if I count for anything
I think I belong to you.
Although I was born to Red White and Blue.
Canada Day is my birthday too. <3

As a European,a couple of things I didn`t understand,but I got the message,a funny and witty poem about the relationship between two neighbours, this love/hate relationship as between the Scots and the English or the Germans and the Austrians.
A funny poem,and a good subject,well done.
