help me lie through my teeth

help me lie through my teeth

A Poem by chiyonatsu
"

a poem written about my almost friends.

"
my hands are tied by a web of lies
just like the rosary you pray.
please ask Him a question
just cause I haven't seen God in days.
Well, dear I'd love to laugh with you
but my mask is a breath away from an early grave
When you ask me if I'm okay
don't expect honest answers
we'll never get anywhere that way
You seem too nice, it seems too good
something must be hiding inside
But where it hides, oh where it lurks?
my head, my heart, my throat.
I wish I could ask,
and oh I wish I could cry.
But darling all I can do is
lie, lie, lie.

chiyonatsu
the rhyme scheme is iffy, i know. sorry if it bothers you, i just work better when i don't have to worry about whether it rhymes right or not.
