Mistakes

a short poem, written on the fly mainly for the purpose of being a sample. i hope you like it nevertheless. c:

i've made mistakes in my past
i hoped that this feeling would never last
you've broken me down
neglected to build me back up
and left only a wreck of a girl
who once had the world
you told me this wasn't your intention
that this was only one dimension
but now through broken eyes i see
i never meant a thing to you, although you meant the world to me.

All I see is a girl that got backstabbed or rejected by a loved one, no details to tell which loved one. Good poem tho.
