first of ten poems i wrote the other night. enjoy~

find time to wander round the riverbends
find time to stand beneath the yew.
destiny and fate will wait for you
as you find out what you never knew.

look around the forest grounds
for life you never knew.
gaze up at the midnight sky
and travel with the shooting star.
destiny and fate will wait for you
as you find out who you are.

live like the lotus flower,
love like today’s your last.
destiny and fate will wait for you
as you remember all your past.

fly throughout the forest
on a pair of borrowed wings
destiny and fate will wait for you
as the blackbird sings.

no matter where you wander,
no matter where you roam,
your life and friends will wait for you.
destiny and fate will wait for you,
as you come back home.
