You Lost The Game~

an acrostic poem i wrote, after my friend accused me of knowing only how to haiku! silly girl. ;)

you make a mistake, you see
of thinking i only haiku
undeniably, they're a tool of my trade

limiting myself to them though,
oh, i just couldn't bare it!
so i've branched out to different forms, enough
to torture you for ever!

to sonnet to lyric
haiku and free verse
empires fall to my poetic wit!

good night wishes sound sweeter in
an endearing iambic pentameter!
ma'am, you are dear, but you've underestimated my skills!
even now, you've been struck with acrostic!
