The Lost FaithA Poem by ~ Twilight~
I walk on the wet sands of fidelty
bare-footed,delirious,and empty Frazzled by this burning pain I lean down and engrave my name The ocean of life begins to stride The writing is effaced by an impish tide Shaking with the fear of being lost An anguish stems in corners of my heart In this erratic enigma of knowing I find my heart shattered and slowing As a last oil-drop to a dying flame I think of You and re-write my name The prankish tide invades, and hustles away To my greatest surprise, the writing stays The whole epic now starts to make sense All my frightful agony finds an end I was Godless when You were not near You breezed in ,so my faith re-appear'd Now I flutter on the sands of fidelty Singing your name in sprite and tranquility The moon eyes me and starts to chime There goes the captive of un-commited crime © 2011 ~ Twilight~ |
