Change of Seasons...4/3/23

Change of Seasons...4/3/23

A Poem by chuck

The bitter nights disobey the season and reveals
that winter doesn't want to leave. April rushes in with cool deception,
winter not willing to retreat.

Flowers waiting to explode with color and
distill their perfumes through the air.
Reds and oranges, purples and whites,
something beautiful will soon be shared.

Winter and spring rub against each other
in this cool and crisp April night.
theSpringtime wants to hurry in, winter wants to put up a fight.

Blanketed with stars, the frozen sky
awaits new days sun.
Although it's quite a battle,
spring has winter on the run.

April pushes forward and
winter must now surrender.
The flowers bloom defiantly,
with gardens multi-colored splendor.
