Violent storm the ship was lost
No one heard the sailors wail
No one saw the torn up sails
Sailors praying to the Lord
Lost at sea all souls on board

Sailors know there is a cost
Voices drown in the deep
Where they lie in silent sleep
Crews searching overhead
The sea will not give up her dead
