Northern Lights...3/23/23

The heavens are aglow tonight with colors of the Northern lights.

 Sweeping waves of tinted clouds cover the endless winter sky.

 The Northern lights with their irredescnt swirls

 paint rainbows on the frozen earth.

 The legend of bright neon lights sails on through the night.

 

 Crystal white branches laced with snow reflect upon the lake

 Prisms of the Aurora filter through the stars.

 

and turn the little ship of dreams into a kaleidoscope

 as it dances on the water. 

 The Northern lights blaze across the ebony curtain 

and the moon hangs like a nightlight in the sky. 

Icy cold dreams find their way back home and

 magic fills this winters eve.
