Do I have to sit and listen
to what you have to say?
Your words are pretty brutal
but I'll listen anyway
Didn't I always treat you right,
what made it seem so wrong?
I'm trying very hard to keep
from coming on too strong.
I'm getting pretty tired
of hearing this every day
Maybe I should just give up
most people wouldn't stay
What happened to the story
that we were best of friends?
Pointing fingers and telling lies
looks like this is the end
So walk away and don't look back
let your anger fade away
Maybe I'll try to forgive you
but it won't be today
