Haiku - Nature

Haiku - Nature

A Poem by chuck

squirrel on the run
a fat face full of acorns
 climbs an old oak tree

 monarch butterflies
 hundreds flutter in the trees
 brightly colored breeze

 ten foot maple tree
 no match for a hurricane
 snapped like a toothpick

 a bee buzzes by
 black and yellow business suit
 flies home to honey

 summertime decay
 a graveyard of fallen leaves
 bubble wrap footsteps

 red, yellow, green, gold
 parachutes leap from the limbs
 hit the ground running
