Knowing God...

Listen to the priests
and the preachers,
the elders, the mystics,
the spiritual guides

They all speak of
humanity, peace,
kindness, and love.

There is a problem
with their teachings.
They cant all agree
with one another.

They preach or write
with blind thoughts.
All believing in their
own truths, their religion,
their Gods.

Forgetting about their
original message.
Peace, love, and
brotherhood.

They attempt to build
bridges over troubled
waters infused with
hatred and contempt.

Claiming their beliefs
to be superior.
That they are the ones
who truly know God.

The reality is that
they dont know God,
caught up in their own
ideas on religion.
