Quit != Giving Up

A poem about the how quitting is not give up. And how change3 is itself a form of quitting sometimes.

If there is one thing to quit: it is NOT quitting

for success is not exclusive of redress

Never quit life, but consider quitting strife

Never quit optimism, but consider quitting escapism

Never quit love, but consider quitting lust

Never quit endurance, but consider quitting encumbrance

In growth, there is much to gain as there is to lose

And to commit anew there is some quitting to do

Your words speak true. To cover ourselves with the blanket of resignation, to bury our heads in the sand, so easy to do but one cannot truly call this living. The ups come with the dreaded downs, but in a way we cannot have one without the other to develop into who are meant to become.
