in the name of love

the tears in my eyes 

came to me as a surprise 

like darkness to light 

we both fight to be right 

both soldiers on the battle 

field  of love 

we fight for an 

undying love 

bearing wombs of 

a troubled past 

we turn our heads

and say the pain wouldn't always last

fighting for love 

wombed by hate 

how can we ever 

escape our entwined  faith.........
