You're Not A Daddy.A Poem by chillsea
I thought daddy's cared. I thought daddy's were supposed to always be there.
Catch you when you fall. Be there when you called. See though every frown. Know when you're feeling down. I thought you could lean on daddy's shoulder, ball up like a bolder. Cry in his arms. Show us there's no harm. Aren't you supposed to protect me? Show me I'm not alone? Make sure I've somewhere to go? Give me a home? Not leave me in the dust. What about our relationship dad? What about all the fun times we had? Are you done? Ready to run? Look what you've done! Look who you've become! You broke this family, you let us fall to pieces. You let everything slide right by you, even when I tried to confide in you! You never cared, the way you act is unfair. You can't get away with it much longer, I'm not with you anymore dad.
How does it feel? Does it hurt? Think maybe you can finally be real? No, you can't. You never have & never will. I believed in you, I took up for you. & what'd you do? You screwed it all over & proved there's nothing noone can do. It's always just been you. © 2011 chillseaReviews
