Where Are You Now?

Where Are You Now?

A Poem by chillsea

  • Words can't even describe how much I want you back in my arms, again.
  • I wish things didn't end that way, I can honestly say I think about you everyday.
  • I need to get this out, these words for you I'm willing to shout!
  • Sometimes I think I catch you taking a glimpse of me, the words you said, the were a hard sting.
  • I'm so sorry I messed things up, I wish I didn't put you through so much.
  • Threre's a thin line between love and hate, I really thought we could beat that rate.
  • I should've cut you slack, your love's something I can't lack.
  • It's been so long. I miss you. Yet, you'll always be gone, now wont you?
  • Forever will I cry for you, because my love will never die for you.
  • I know we've had our ups and downs. But, I would love for you to still come around.
  • You're still in my heart, I'm so upset we got torn apart.. You'll always have a special place in my heart.

The purging of words is always a good way to get emotions out, before they pressurize and explode. I think everyone will be able to relate to this piece. Some in small ways, others as if they are looking in a mirror and seeing themselves. While everyone has their hard times and dips on the roller coaster of life, every thing seems to happen for a reason. While the why can be illusive, when it does appear, we realize we are wiser for the experiences we've been through.

As I read all of your poems, from oldest to newest, I could see how they step the reader through a journey of emotion and ink, of reality and heart or heartbreak. This format of poetry that flows from one to the other is a favorite of mine, as it keeps a stronger energy in the words.

My one suggestion would be, seeming as they all are related, is to post them in a book, and each poem would be a chapter. That would further aid in showing readers that it's a flowing process and a process that's still underway.

Keep up the ink. :)
