Love that Will Never be ExchangedA Poem by PerfectlyImperfectMy grandfather passed recently, and it has been hard without him here...There are no words you can say to someone who has lost a father There are so many questions we can't answer
Why did you leave? Why aren't you here? It seems like from a day to another you dissapear
Your a man who was respected and admired and gave your kids all they desired
Supplied them with Tender, Love, and Care and now there's an emptiness in our homes because your not there
Before you made us cry of laughter And now we cry from your parture- a Disaster
Somehow people think the pain will go away when in reality our hearts are only filled halfway
you left and that is something we can't change and your Love is something we will never exchange
From above you are having your well needed rest But know you will always have a place deep in our chest
