Trapped

I was inspired by the movie "The Notebook" and thought this was how she was feeling when she saw Noah again.

What do you do when your trapped in your own heart?

One has a smile

that makes me melt in his arms
The other one makes me laugh

like he is my perfect charm

One has had my heart

since the day I laid eyes on him
The other has taken possesion of the key

and took me on a limb

He's the one that through every arguement

fights for our better tommorrow
But the other with just one look

has me running back to him with no sorrow

 

Can you really be in love

with two people

Or is it a battle

between my heart and a needle
 
With every step I take

it seems like I'm closer to my fait
But I feel blinded and confused

and I just cant wait

I wish I knew with whom

its really meant to be
And who will keep me in a golden cage

and not let me be free

I am trapped in my own heart
and I'm afraid that with one wrong choice
It will simply tear me apart
