she's lying

my writing and music is sometimes the only thing that keeps me wanting to live.....

she's lying
she was crying
can you not see it
her eyes are bloodshot
her voice is hoarse
you will never know
the pain she hides inside
the more you don't notice
the more it hurts her
more lies and broken promises
she is quickly dying inside
soon she'll be gone
promised her help no matter what
but her door is tightly shut
inside her room
with the music blasting crying out loud
no one loves her
no one really cares
she is alone in this world
she fears she can never make her own
so she sits alone in her room listening to music
to calm her tears
and she wonders will you ever be there for her
when she say's she fine
she's lying

THis is heartbreaking.. More often than not it is harder to say that you are not fine. It sounds conceited, when it shouldn't.
It's a double edged sword, and you have captured it beautifully.
