-Stardust-

Starfish drift  by

As I bleed tonight

Slowly all of my

Red plasma is

Filling up the sea

Feeding all the

Blue ocean plankton

 As I leave

My body for the

Circling sharks to eat

There’s nothing left

For me to keep

Think I’ll sail

Out of here,

Do a fly by the moon

Up in the cosmos

Kiss the face of

Heaven as I

 Evaporate into

Sparkles of

Purple stardust

Wonderful poetic value of images of the universe. I love, "as I evaporate into sparkles of purple stardust". Very ethereal!

Beauty, filled with emotional content of someone hurting and flying into the cosmos to re- fuel their spirit and soul.
I love the final stanza :

"Kiss the face of
Heaven as I
Evaporate into
Sparkles of
Purple stardust"

I love purple stardust, reminds me of the old song written by Hogie Carmichael called "Stardust", popular clear back in 1927. Here are the 1st few lyrics:

"And now the purple dust of twilight time
Steals across the meadows of my heart
High up in the sky the little stars climb
Always reminding me that we're apart"

Excellent write. Graphic and maybe even a little devious.

It is graphic and detailed. It is sad and beautiful at the same time. Wonderfully done.

When I read this I got the sense of a tragedy. Perhaps the person was a suicide and the flying up and becoming stardust perhaps is them going to heaven. This is very beautiful and dark at the same time. I do really like it. It's a great poem.

In her head she could hear the raven speaking to her.. ~ ~ You are me and I am you, you are Ravyne, mistress of the ravens.. I am Annabell, yours.. always yours... You are me and I am you…I feel your pain as you felt mine ~ ~
