Shedding Words

A Word Association Poem

Shedding Words

Colors twirling in the air of change

Pennies, quarters, nickels, dimes

Deep pockets produce space rockets

Their long legs and high kicks speak volumes

Bound by threads these words are shed

Rain trickles off the tin roof protecting fleshy peaches

Marie,
Writing in metaphors is so exciting and you do it so well. That's something I've never been able to do very well, I envy that talent you have.
Your use of words is very enticing. I love words, the thesaurus is my favorite friend. You use them well in this piece. The font is pretty, but it's a tad bit hard on my eyes, only because I don't see as well as I used to

I love it, certain lines are abstract but that adds to the appeal.

I will not undertake a philosophical, psychological
, or cognitive approach to this exciting poem.
It is a product of an incredible gift, the gift of
eloqy. The words speak in the human voice of
an exciting, intelligent and talented woman.
Fantastic verbalization. Your poem/song worms
it`s way into the reader`s brain, where it will
remain amplified and indelibly inscribed for life.

Thank you,

I absolutely love this piece I just hate the font because it makes it hard to figure out a few words. But this is definitely going into my favorites :)
