Shedding Words

Shedding Words

A Poem by Marie Harrison

A Word Association Poem

Shedding Words

Colors twirling in the air of change

Pennies, quarters, nickels, dimes

Deep pockets produce space rockets

Their long legs and high kicks speak volumes

Bound by threads these words are shed

Rain trickles off the tin roof protecting fleshy peaches

You definitely had much more success streaming words and building relationships than I had streaming thoughts and building an understanding...

:)

But all in all you managed me to read this no less that 5 times...

I like the first line a lot...

Yeah this is a new style for me. And i think, and hope, that i actually get what you did in this poem, which was fairly good.

The font and color made my eyes sting, wondering what it says. I actually had to copy and paste it to the review box to read it, haha. But anways! Enough criticizing your font style, and on to the poem itself! (I was about to post some Shakespeare style of writing, but I decided against it. I promised myself I wouldn't show WC my dorky side, lol.)

I didn't really get what this was about. With the Authors Note at the end of it, I guess it gave me a little more insight into that mind of yours. Although, I'm still not sure what to make of it. But for now, until it gets proven otherwise, I'm going to say that you have different relationships with people. I'm not sure. D;

But anyways, good job!

98/100
