My GriefA Poem by Marie Harrisonmourning poem
My Grief
My companionship
Is unbearable
As I grieve
Forgive me
For there’s no relief
Nothing comforts
Or consoles my anxious soul
Everything’s a thorn in my side
My darkness I cannot hide
No quench for this mighty thirst
Magic pills cannot subside
This sea of pain
That resides in my heart
I’m a slave of mourning
A raging storm of anger
And regrets
Time has been my thief
Robbing me of my dearest love
Throw me in
My pit of doom
Bury me deep
Within my tomb
