Space SwimmersA Poem by Marie HarrisonA children's ABC poemSpace Swimmers Astronauts do the butterfly stroke gracefully through cold navy
cubes of Jell-O Blueberry is the fruity flavor silver suited astronauts taste as
they swim Children look through their telescopes late at night trying to
see the space swimmers Dreaming of miles and miles of blue Jell-O to eat, red cheeked
children sleep Eating blueberry Jell-O gives the satisfied astronauts blue lips
and blue tongues Frightening to see the astronauts smiling at the cameras on the
news with mouths of blue Grinning shades of blue are beautiful to their families as they
watch them smile © 2011 Marie HarrisonAuthor's Note
