Snow Cone

Snow Cone

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A summer poem

"

Snow Cone

Lime green, sweet snow cone

Your tangy taste takes me home

Back to the days when I was so carefree

To jump in the pool after your mind numbing freeze

You bring me pleasure

You make me smile

One taste of you

 Takes me a million miles

You leave me with a fluorescent grin

You make me feel young again

Snow cone! Honestly, I'd never tried one, and you'd made me wonder about it! I like the realistic in your poem, I think I got that taste actually! Its a cool off to have a snow cane, so icy!
Wonderful Job!

Your words are true. Hard to find a real snow cone. The small things can bring back good memories. Thank you for the excellent poem.
