Love Lessons

If you can’t

Give hearty

Love to yourself,

Why give weak

Love to others?

Your power source

Begins at home,

Before it’s

Transferred to others.

Home is where the seeds

Of peace are planted

I was blown away by this

So much of what we see in this world and get from this world originates from us, from our home inside of us. This poem reminds me of that in many ways. Very true are your words and the meaning is something we all can learn or re learn.

I really like this poem. You took the old saying about not being able to love others until you love yourself and turned it into something beautiful! I love it. Great poem.
