Love Lessons

If you can’t

Give hearty

Love to yourself,

Why give weak

Love to others?

Your power source

Begins at home,

Before it’s

Transferred to others.

Home is where the seeds

Of peace are planted

Short, powerful words! I enjoyed the first stanza- it was creatively phrased. This poem really speaks out loudly on the teaching: 'love your neighbour as you love yourself'. Brainy poem!

I guess that depends on whose home you live in ... ponder that :)
Still, love the wisdom here!! I wish it were true in every home.

I completely support the message in this poem, home is our most powerful source and starting point, it's from where we take off and start chasing out dreams very true and sweet, thanks for sharing :))

I love how you underscore how you have to love yourself first. Also home is the epicenter of peace and love. Simply lovely:)

I 100% agree. Your roots at home. From there, you shoot up and reach the stars and lend your love to people.

I agree with you, home is where all the life, things begins, and I also agree with love ourself first before we love others. Its so true, without loving ourself, we have no.. well rights and the power to love others :)

Such a short and sweet poem, with a lots of meaning behind it. Also, i love how it gives us memories too, keeps us remembering our home :) love it really much :)
Wonderful Job!
