Cleaning

Time to dust and sweep

Rid yourself of dirty,

Useless waste in your life

Make room for the new and the fresh

To come through your door

Making your environment

pleasant to thrive in

Author's Note:

Sometimes cleaning is more about cleaning up our lives than cleaning our physical space.  Subtracting all that takes away from the meaning in our lives.  Making space for new people that will have more meaning and purpose for our future.

It's necessary to clean our lives and our space to

live a wholesome and productive life.

Great meaning here. And I love the picture! I wish you hadn't added that Author's Note... it's implied by the first half of the poem, as it is highly unlikely that one would write a poem at all about lysol and windex. Still, great work. It's about that time, too, right? Spring cleaning. =)

yes - cleaning is essential to keep the mind and love flowing...get rid of the emotional vampires, the people who zap your time and only leave their garbage
