Forever Good-bye

He held me closely

In the gentle rain

 

His blue eyes poured

Love into mine

 

His warm sweet lips

Kissed me so softly

 

As the spring rain trickled down

Our passion rose

 

Without words but a warm embrace,

He said good-bye before I boarded the train

 

We knew our lips

Would never touch again

I hate saying goodbye to people. My cousin and I are so close but he lives so far away so we only see each other once a year. He's like my brother. So whenever it's time for him to fly home or vice versa we never say goodbye because we know we're going to start crying....I was reminded of this when I read this poem. Very thought provoking. Well done:)
