Winter Pond Magic

Pink cheeked cherubs frolic and spin

With angelic white swans on the icy pond today

Grace has entered their souls on this snowy

White winter day of the New Year

Twinkling chimes and whimsical tunes fill their

Hearts as they glide along on the chilly waters

Forming beautiful views for my joyous eyes to watch

Blue skies and sunlight hover above

Causing the pond to glisten and sparkle with the

Magic of their mystical moments of fun

I had this fantasy early one morning while dog walking. All I could do to stay warm. What do you think?

Well now Cherubs are mighty spirit creatures, but artistic licence was used so well by you, I could see my breath as i watched the swans dance, a sprinkling of fairy dust floated all around and kept us mesmorised in your beautiful poem

Oh I like it. But then I love winter . . . even after all the snow I look forward to anymore that might arrive :)
