Tangerine Sunfish

Tangerine Sunfish

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

An Asian fantasy poem

Tangerine Sunfish

Light eastern clouds of billow

Blowing my troubles away

As I float off on

My tangerine sunfish

In a sparkling amber sea

Of warm sake

Strings of a lonely

Mandolin serenade me

As I slowly drift away

Into my last setting sun

On the west horizon

Setting sail

To explore my

Mandarin dreams

And geisha wishes

In peace

Hoping to set

My soul free

In a light aqua green

Sea foam halo

The imagery is very well painted; allowing me to picture it in my minds.

Awe yes a very dreamesque quality to the poem... I could close my eyes and drift off into a virtual vacation.

Oh those marmalade skies, ok so it was tangerine, so colourful the dreams you weave on sail boats gliding on a burgundy sea. love it Marie

so peacefull, so happy.... when you were talking about sailing it reminded me of the quote 'I can't change the direction of the wind, but can always adjust my sails'
