Tangerine Sunfish

Tangerine Sunfish

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

An Asian fantasy poem

Tangerine Sunfish

Light eastern clouds of billow

Blowing my troubles away

As I float off on

My tangerine sunfish

In a sparkling amber sea

Of warm sake

Strings of a lonely

Mandolin serenade me

As I slowly drift away

Into my last setting sun

On the west horizon

Setting sail

To explore my

Mandarin dreams

And geisha wishes

In peace

Hoping to set

My soul free

In a light aqua green

Sea foam halo
