ALA Poem by Marie HarrisonPoem about a friend
AL Not so long ago I was your gal We had a great time After meeting over email You were the first For me to date With two letters For a name Too bad cocaine Made your Brain so lame Or maybe I Would have Remained All of those hours, Holding hands, Slow dancing In your kitchen, And playing pool in Your game room It wasn't physical Attraction That drew me to you It was your Friendship My natural reaction To hours of me Laughing at your Funny stories I loved your thick Southern drawl How you raced Your Porsche around The mall doing Figure eights My friends Couldn’t stop Laughing at You at the Pub crawl I'll always think About you Whenever I see the Dawgs Play football You would tease Me, when Texas beat us No one loves G. Love & Special Sauce music like You did I'll miss you Al I wish we had Just remained pals You were such A good friend To me Al, you were Such a man In my eyes Watching you Be so tender When you cared For your Dad I always loved your Red coon hound, RED I love you too I miss you, AL © 2011 Marie HarrisonReviews
