Candy Land DanceA Poem by Marie HarrisonA whirlwind dance of rapture
Candy Land Dance As tuxedo Licorice sticks spin While festive red Candy canes dance Their twirling waltz In the autumn wind Bells of the Cathedral will sound As we embark on our Dance of honeybee’s glee Let’s electric slide on Our tangy rainbow floors Here we’ll begin to explore Joyous rhapsody of Gypsy folk love Mingle with spider monkeys Jive with baboon groups Playing their bassoons Let loose with kangaroos Whistling Dixie on Their shiny maroon Cinnamon flutes Ecstasy we’ll find As peaceful Music subdues our Ire and pangs as volatile Violins rise and fall Within their string And bow range Hershey kisses Will melt us In our candy land © 2011 Marie HarrisonReviews
