Do You Think About Me?

My heart skips a beat

When I hear our beach song

That reminds me of you

It’s been years since

I’ve heard that Moody Blues tune

But my heart begins to flutter

When I talk I start to stutter

My head fills with clutter

Once the music plays

I feel my body sway

I close my eyes and I feel

Your hands between my thighs

Giving me a surprise

My body again feels anew

Suddenly my lips yearn to kiss you

To feel the pure

Bliss like they used to

All these years I’ve

Been so blue without you

Oh how we danced

Playing in the California sun

That’s where

We had our fun

I wonder if you think about me

When our song is sung

Marie Harrison, I have to agree with Jibey... For some reason, I felt like I was transported back to some old 50's cafe that was the main hangout for teens in the suburbs... Go figure that... I think it had something to do with the color you chose. Don't know why, because it's not the first I've seen it, but somehow, the contrast against the whiteness of the page struck me. That aside, the poem itself was wonderful. Even with the mention of hands between thighs, there was an innocence to it. Great stuff, Marie Harrison.

Oh La la! Now this was grand.. I felt myself singing in my head a soft tune to the words.. Way to go with this. I really enjoyed..
