This Woman, MaryA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem about the Mother of Christ
This Woman, Mary All she bore Never made Her sore Her yoke was light And gave delight Her beauty shown As her baby Took earth’s throne Left out in the Cold to give birth Yet everlasting warmth Came from her girth She smiled a thankless job Yet never frowned when Her son was mobbed She was an Ordinary wife But she lived an Extraordinary life She is The Virgin Mary
