He Strums His Drum

Tiny drummer drums

He plays his best for The Son

Wearing old worn out rags

Aged by the sun

Yet he stands like a proud soldier

As if the war had been won

To play for his Godly Prince

Christ the King,

Our Baby Jesus

He strums on his drum

As the ebbs and flows of

His heavenly peace have begun

I love the story of the Little Drummer Boy. I have no idea what gift I would give. Maybe I'll figure that out this year.

YOU are the gift. OK - here's a quote - our life force is a gift from God, what we do with that is our gift back to God. oooooo profoundity!

What a lovely poem - so pretty. You seriously could do cards, your poems have such an endearing quality to them.

Yes, it's a charming song... and it is true that peace ebbs and flows even for the most ardent believer...
