Fresh Powder

Fresh Powder

Soft bits of cold down

Flitter in the air

As I jet down the steep slope

I feel alive as I speed down

My heart is racing

My mind is at rest

All is well in the world

When I’m skiing on

Fresh powder snow

You capture the exhileration well... and how delicious is a hot bath at the end of it all

Ah the feeling of wind in your face, the sheer joy of speed of flying as the tears stream down your face and freeze on cheek, then that ultimate delight as you hit a BLOODY tree at 50 miles an hour, oh what joy to get plastered..............in paris

Sounds so lovely and wonderful - and DANGEROUS!! I'm so impressed with you courageous physical risk-taker types. My hats off to you - you make it sound so fun.

I like this, we all have our 'thing' that helps us to feel better, get through the troubling and hard times, helps us escape from the cares of life for a while. Fantastic write!

Sounds like a good way to escape your cares. Nothing like the high of doing something exhilarating!
